RUNNING STRONG FOR OVER A QUARTER OF A CENTURY!!!

 

In-school chess instruction for grades K-12 teaches fundamental chess elements for varying proficiency levels, from the absolute beginner to the competitive player level. Our lesson plans assist in promoting educational values that can be learned through chess. Classes will incorporate critical thinking, planning, logic, and much more. Students are encouraged to demonstrate sportsmanship and strive for success in the classroom over the chessboard.

Our US Chess Federation-certified coaches will provide professional training at all levels. Our staff is the best in the business, with current high-rated Elo ratings and decades of successful chess instruction. Students get access to a ChessKid.com account, and all will receive our published Chess Club booklet series to help them follow along with what they've learned in class at their own pace while earning prizes by completing each book.

 

Chess Club classes are generally an hour long or more and meet once a week for several consecutive weeks. Our award-winning curriculum ensures that students of all ages and levels will learn something new every class meeting, and each session ends with our famous chess trophy tournament.​​​​​
